Textile production requires both physical labour and raw materials, which in turn demand land for sheep grazing and large-scale cultivation of textile crops. The aim of the conference is to demonstrate the value and importance of interdisciplinary research and, demonstrate how the economic, social, and cultural impact of textiles and textile production can be made visible through this approach
