Impact Investing as an Accelerator for Schumpeterian Social Entrepreneurship

The research question underlying this proposal is exploratory: How does the intention of impact investors (idealist versus arbitrage) affect actual behaviour and ultimate performance outcomes (both financial and social)? An important event of the research stay will be the organization of the Impact Investing Days in January 2024 co-hosted by both CBS and SFSU.
