Fungi are vital for ecosystems, yet their diversity remains poorly understood. Through the FunDive project, we combine citizen science, AI, and DNA analysis to map fungal communities across Europe. A research stay at Université de Montpellier will serve to connect Mediterranean and Temperate perspectives on fungal biodiversity and conservation, and allow us to jointly arrange a project workshop.
