This project supports the publication of the monograph "The Social Networks of Early Medieval Trading Emporia: Harbouring Strangers in a Viking World" with Cambridge University Press. The book is the result of my 2022 to 2023 Carlsberg Foundation Monograph Fellowship project “Northern Emporia. An Archaeology of Urban Networks”.
